Job Description
We are seeking a coach to assist in the delivery and ongoing development of the rowing program. The role involves working closely with the Head of Rowing to build strong foundations across a range of athletes, from beginners through to developing competitive rowers.
Hours Approximately 8–10 hours per week based at Murwillumbah Rowing Club, including:
Early morning water sessions
Afternoon training sessions
Saturday sessions (including regattas as required)
Key Responsibilities
Assist with coaching junior and development squads
Support Learn to Row programs
Contribute to athlete development, safety, and skill progression
Work collaboratively with the Head of Rowing and broader coaching team
Assist with equipment setup, boat handling, and on-water supervision
