Commitment to Child Safety

Lindisfarne is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment. 

  • Successful applicants will be required to provide the School with a current Working with Children Check clearance. Please see Working with Children Check (WWCC) for more information. 
  • Successful applicants will need to declare that they have not been subject of any concluded investigation relating to allegations of involvement in improper or unlawful conduct, whether of a sexual nature or otherwise, concerning a student or child.
  • Please be aware that under the Child Protection (Prohibited Employment) Act 1988 it is an offence for individuals who were convicted of certain sex offences to accept child-related employment in schools.
