Job Description
This casual role requires availability to work for morning and afternoon school runs, sports events and other excursions.
Salary $44.12 per hour plus superannuation
Key Duties
Drive an allocated bus on specified routes and excursions while ensuring the care, safety and comfort of Lindisfarne students
Monitor and report any issues which may affect the service and timetable
Maintain order amongst students during trips to ensure safety
Keep the bus clean and in good working order at all times
Work split shifts and rosters as directed and provide flexibility when needed
Demonstrate high levels of professionalism in all activities
Desired Skills and Experience
Skills and Experience
Must hold a NSW MR Drivers Licence or higher and hold a NSW Bus Driver Authority (or be willing to obtain one)
Previous school bus driving experience or experience in a similar role (desirable)
Medically fit to drive
Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
A commitment to the Christian Faith and Anglican Ethos of the School
Strong interest in and support for the benefits of coeducation and independent schooling
Ability and willingness to uphold and role model the school's values of compassion, wisdom and respect.
Demonstrated ability to foster and promote positive relationships with all stakeholders.
