Job Description
As part of our Information Services team, you will be the first point of contact for staff and students requiring assistance with computer issues, AV equipment, printing, and general technical queries.
This is an entry-level role, so no prior technical support experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and providing helpful support to staff and students.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Manager - Information Services. We offer opportunities for training, development, and career growth along with a competitive salary of $75,489 excluding superannuation per annum. Only candidates with existing Australian Permanent Residency will be considered. We regret that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this opportunity.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide friendly and prompt technical support in person, via email/ticketing system, and over the phone
Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, networking, and printer issues
Set up AV equipment for presentations/meetings and provide training to staff
Log and track support requests, escalating more complex issues to senior technicians
Maintain knowledge of school systems, procedures and common applications
Assist with routine maintenance tasks like installing updates, reimaging machines, etc.
