Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School is seeking passionate and innovative educators to join our forward-thinking Creative Industries Department. We are looking for teachers who are not only skilled in their disciplines but also committed to curriculum innovation, creative learning, and future-focused education.
As a member of the Creative Industries team, you will inspire students to think critically, experiment fearlessly, and engage with contemporary and emerging creative practices. You will work collaboratively with colleagues dedicated to excellence in teaching and the development of students’ creative potential.
Available Positions:
Visual Arts Teacher/Photographic and Digital Media Teacher
Salary: Commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience, as outlined in the Independent Schools NSW Teachers Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025 ($90,100 – $127,281).
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and innovative programs in Visual Arts, Textiles Technology, Photographic and Digital Media, or Mandatory Technology.
Inspire students through creative, contemporary, and future-focused learning experiences.
Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and contribute to the ongoing development of teaching programs.
Collaborate within a supportive and progressive team to achieve high-quality learning outcomes.
Foster a classroom culture that values creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Use data and reflective practice to support student growth and achievement.
Promote an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity.
Build positive relationships with parents and carers to strengthen understanding of Creative Industries education.
Desired Skills and Experience
Required Skills
Exceptional proficiency in teaching one or more of the above-mentioned Creative Industries subjects.
Strong understanding of syllabus documents, assessment strategies, and evidence-based practice.
Demonstrated ability to drive student improvement through high expectations and innovation.
Stage 6 teaching experience (desirable).
Relevant teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation (or equivalent).
