Job Description

We welcome applications from specialists in upper and lower strings who are committed to fostering a love of music and excellence in student performance. This is an initial placement for Semester 1 at the Junior Campus, working with our Kindergarten to Year 4 students, with the potential for ongoing work.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a highly experienced and vibrant team implementing a comprehensive music program with a strong foundation in choral, band and dance performance. Having prior professional performance experience, as well as being able to teach performance techniques, would be seen as an advantage. It is important you are conversant with and willing to teach across a wide range of musical styles.

Classification: Private contractor, billing directly to parents | Hourly Rate: $94.00

  • Fostering student performance opportunities
  • Collaboration with classroom, instrumental and ensemble teachers to ensure performances complement teaching and learning priorities
