Job Description

The Athletics Coach is responsible for providing and implementing age-appropriate athletics programs across a wide array of age groups and sports within term time. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about sport, teamwork and guiding young athletes to be their best.

You will facilitate a collaborative relationship among sports coaches, staff, and students while adhering to policies and procedures for the safe and professional operation of the Sports Program. Responsibilities include coaching athletics across sprint, long/triple jump, high jump, throws and middle distance/cross-country sessions.

Coaching is required for multiple shifts each week, including before and after school and weekend commitments.

Hourly Rate: $60-$80 per hour (minimum two hours per shift), dependent on experience  and qualifications.

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in evaluating athletes and modifying training plans according to sound scientific principles.
  • Maintain athlete records. 
  • Athletics Australia coaching certificate (preferred at least level 2)
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check
