Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School is a high quality, independent, Anglican, Co-educational P-12 school serving the southern Gold Coast, Tweed Coast and northern New South Wales regions. Salary: $39.00 per hour
This is a casual position initially, with potential for ongoing employment for the right candidate.
Duties and Requirements
Grounds and gardening duties, for the purpose of ensuring safe and attractive grounds, including:
- Lawn mowing of 30+ acres using commercial lawn mowing equipment
- Brush cutting, edging, weeding and other grass / grounds maintenance
- Trimming of trees, shrubs and hedges using equipment such as chainsaw, pole pruner etc.
- Landscaping duties including spreading rock, mulch etc.
- Experience with zero turn lawn mowers is preferable
General maintenance and labouring tasks including:
- Tasks involving moving furniture, setup and breakdown of events
- Rubbish collection and waste management
- Minor repairs and maintenance of grounds and facilities
- Maintenance of job related tools and equipment
Skills and Experience
- Ability to work independently, with initiative and to work proactively in a busy environment
- Have an understanding of and commitment to the Anglican Christian ethos of the School
